WHAT TO EXPECT?

At your initial consultation a full medical history will be taken. This will involve being asked about the condition you are presenting with. You will be asked about past and current illness's, medication you may be taking, and any previous accidents, injuries and surgeries.

A physical and neurological examination will be done after the medical history. The examination will involve health checks, range of motion, neurological and orthopaedic testing. This is to ensure that chiropractic treatment is a safe and appropriate option for the condition/symptoms you are presenting with.

 

Once the physical examination is complete, a discussion will take place regarding a treatment plan. During your care there may be exercises that you can do at home to help with progression.

If we feel that your presenting condition is not suitable for chiropractic care, further investigation will be required. With your permission we will be in contact with your GP to discuss an appropriate referral.
